Leveraging Government Programs To Propel Your Company!
In these troublesome economic times, you need to find a means of seeking additional aid in developing your company. As the CEO of a high potential Company, leveraging outside sources such as IRAP and SRED tax credits to obtain additional funding for these projects may prove to be a valid option.
At this particular workshop we will address different funding programs and the way they interact to help you determine the optimal basket of funding options for your company.

Rolf Eichfuss, P. Eng.
Industrial Technology Advisor, National Research Council’s Industrial Research Assistance Program

After a successful career as a Consulting Engineer, Rolf joined the National Research Council’s Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP) in 1984. During a mission to Germany, he found an optical technology that he brought back to Canada and helped found TRAQSON, a high-tech start-up in 1986. As VP and Director he assisted in raising $8 mil in five tranches through Angel Rounds and an IPO.
After rejoining IRAP in 1991, Rolf was subsequently located at the Business Development Bank in downtown Toronto where he has served as the liaison between numerous IRAP & BDC clients for over 11 years.
Rolf’s focus is on supporting SME technology-based clients and he is active across much of Ontario. He provides Business/Financial Assessments for IRAP Small to Medium sized projects. His IRAP client base extends across several thousand firms in all sectors of technology and he is often called upon by his colleagues to advise clients on Financing.
Formerly a member of the Toronto Venture Group’s VentureFair/Forum Selection Committee for 5 years, he is currently an Associate Member of the Maple Leaf Angels. Rolf served on the Steering Committee of the Greater Peterborough DNA Cluster, and is the IRAP link to this Regional Innovation Network (RIN).
